Prayer Vigil for the Earth
Join me in praying for the earth in the Watch Hours and silence of the night. Planet earth needs our prayers. To center ourselves, I offer the devotional above. Give thanks to God for the native green plant cover that keeps us alive. Green plants and algae are the source of photosynthesis, the primary food-oxygen-water supply of the planet. Natural areas are rapidly disappearing. Ask God for help. The need is urgent. Our window of restoration time is swiftly passing. Pray for creation keepers who will invigorate native plant communities that sustain life. Let us protect green corridors of peace and healing. Honor the Creator. God’s love fills the whole earth. Be blessed.
